answers to your questions

How do you approach a wedding day?

For me, it’s about so much more than the wedding day itself! I get that planning a wedding is a huge undertaking so I’m all for helping out in any way that I can. It’s just how I roll.

I’m here for you right from your initial enquiry, all the way through until after you have received your images.

I’m all about connection and keeping it real. I will laugh with you, shed a tear with you, smile with you and be my down-to earth self with you throughout your day.

How do you describe your style? We are looking for something relaxed

My style lends itself towards a documentary style of photography with just the right amount of creative shots in the mix too.

My approach is relaxed and natural, and I’m always seeking out interesting angles, fleeting moments and killer light.

We aren’t really used to having our photo taken!

It’s totally normal to feel like this! That’s why I keep it casual and fun. I'll keep you relaxed and in the moment, enjoying what matters most- each other! and not focussed on me.

"It was infectious seeing you getting excited about different light and locations. I normally hate photos, but I was loving feeding off your energy. You should be so pumped!! Loved it!! You made the day.” -Jacob & Cara

Do you photograph a lot of weddings each year?

I photograph a maximum of 30 weddings each year.

I take on a capped number of weddings so I can give more back. Each couple receives my complete attention, both on your wedding day as well as in the months leading up to your wedding. I’m here to help, support and guide you with any questions you have, even if not directly photography related during the lead up to your day.

I individually edit every image myself. This is a time intensive process but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I want to give you the very best images possible, and for me this means no outsourcing of editing.

Do you travel outside of Melbourne?

Absolutely! I am available to be a part of your day wherever you are. I can provide you with a custom quote you if live outside of Victoria. There are no additional travel fees for anywhere within Victoria however I might ask you to provide accommodation for me at the end of the night if I'm more than 2 hours from home.

Can we include an album?

Yes you can! Most of my couples include an album to really get the most out of their images. I’m not into pushing things on to people, but believe me, you’ll want to get your hands on one of these!

I work closely with my couples to design an album that creates a visual narrative of the day. I offer a range of bespoke fine art albums that can purchased in addition to your coverage . More information about the albums I offer can be found here.

Do you have insurance and back up equipment? Is this your full time job?

Yes, yes, and yes :) I feel so much gratitude to be able to do what I do!

I’m excited about the thought of you being a part of our day, what next?

You can contact me here, and from there we can arrange a time to have a chat about your day.

I generally take bookings around 12 months in advance of your date but please don’t hesitate to contact me regardless of your date to check availability. I've had enquires come in with just a few weeks notice and I was available and it was meant to be!
